イベントEVENT

ITS Lab attended Kyoto University Academic Day 2023

The Intelligent Transport System Lab participated in the Academic Day 2023 activities along with visiting scientists (Sarah Hampel, Jonas Fahlbusch) from the Mobility2Grid research campus.

The event was held on September 24, 2023 at the "Zest" Shopping Mall along Oike Street. Research results were presented that revealed how car sharing stations can be spatially integrated based on data analytics. In addition, we are working with colleagues from Berlin on issues related to the acceptance of station-based micro mobility sharing. Where should the stations be spatially integrated and with which vehicles? We then discussed these questions as part of the "Dialog with Researchers around the Chabudai". We will use the results of the discussions for further quantitative surveys in Kyoto and Berlin. In the coming year, we will be able to launch a multi agent traffic simulation that will show whether station-based sharing has an impact on car use and CO2 emissions.
